Our company is looking for someone to be an Apprentice Machine Operator / Truck Driver`s / Technician. You will work on various departments including packing and the machine shop.
Duties:
•Training on multi spindle machines
•Completing sub assembly work
•Working on cross hole drilling, stamping and slot milling
•Working on profile milling, drilling and threading
•Marking out
•General factory duties whilst training on CNC machines

The apprenticeship can allow you to progress through the academic route and ultimately get a degree in engineering. However just having the apprenticeship alone provides a fantastic stepping stone for your career and will enhance your opportunities in the engineering world.
Things to consider:
The National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is R213.70 an hour from the 1st of June 2018. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year. Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age of R95.90 an hour.
